📬 Got a letter about your ballot? Don’t ignore it!
If you receive a letter from the Maui County Elections Division saying your ballot return envelope is deficient, there’s an issue that needs to be fixed before your ballot can be processed.
It could be a missing signature, a signature that doesn’t match the reference signature, or another issue with the return envelope.
Here’s what to do:
👉 Complete the Affidavit to Cure Return Ballot Envelope Deficiency included with your letter.
👉 Sign it by hand. Computer-generated signatures are not accepted.
👉 Depending on the issue, you may also need to provide a government-issued photo ID.
👉 Make sure your completed affidavit is received by 4:30 p.m. on November 10, 2026.
