The Voter Registration Application may be used for first time registration, name change, address change, and signature update.
Each registered voter in Hawai'i will automatically receive their ballot in the mail approximately eighteen (18) days prior to each election.
To register to vote in Hawai'i, you must be:
(Non-U.S. citizens, including U.S. nationals do not qualify.)
(Residency cannot simply be because of the applicant’s presence in the state, but that residency was acquired with the intent to make Hawai'i the person’s legal residence with all the accompanying obligation therein.)
(Hawai'i law allows eligible individuals to pre-register at 16 years of age and upon reaching 18 years of age will automatically be registered to vote and mailed a ballot.)
Instructions:
1. Print the Voter Registration Application.
2. Complete the application and sign the affirmation statement.
3. Submit completed application to Office of the County Clerk, Elections Division at 200 S. High St. Rm 708, Wailuku, HI 96793
