Last day to request a General Election Ballot be mailed overseas is October 27, 2026

The Uniformed and Overseas Citizens Absentee Voting Act (UOCAVA) is a federal law that ensures U.S. citizens who are members of the military or living overseas can participate in federal elections. UOCAVA provides these citizens with the ability to vote absentee, meaning they can submit their votes by mail or, in some cases, electronically, rather than voting in person at a polling place. 

• Uniformed Services: U.S. military personnel (Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, etc.) who are stationed outside of the United States.
• Spouses and Dependents of Military Members: The spouses and dependents of active-duty military personnel living with them overseas.
• Overseas Citizens: U.S. citizens living abroad (work, study, or personal reasons).

 Uniformed and Overseas Citizens are assured their voting rights under Federal law. Individual circumstances will determine voting eligibility. 

UOCAVA voters may register to vote and request an absentee ballot by completing a Federal Post Card Application (FPCA).  Completed applications must be submitted to the voter’s County Elections Division by 4:30 p.m. on October 26, 2026
